Are the end of cheap oil, global warming or adapting to a changing climate of concern to you or your community?

'Transition' initiatives are increasingly viewed as one response:
Local people developing their own practical solutions as part of an 'Energy Descent Action Plan'.

Midlothian Council is hosting an event on the 24th November for community councils, community groups, the Council and others in Midlothian to find out more about the Transition movement, discuss the desirability of Transition initiatives in Midlothian, and hear about support from Transition Scotland. The programme will include a presentation by Eva Schonveld from Transition Scotland and a showing of the film, 'In Transition 1.0'.
