Climate change is currently affecting developing countries, setting back their development and compounding poverty. It is those that have contributed least that are being hit the worst.

In the run up to the Copenhagen climate conference in December, Practical Action is running a series of Climate Change Diaries that make stark the impact that climate change is having in the developing world. As the diarists note, climate change is not a far distant concern to speculate about, it is a real and current threat that can destroy livelihoods and take lives.
