The principal objectives of the conference are threefold:

• to give participants a better understanding of the science and theology of climate change and how to bring them together into a holistic spiritual and practical response;
• to enable participants to exchange ideas and practical tips with each other and the speakers; and
• to build up a concerned community of believers across Edinburgh who can support each other in future action.
