CONFERENCE: Going Through The Roof (Church of Scotland) GLASGOW
The Church of Scotland is holding a conference on 5th September 2009 at Colston Milton Parish Church in Glasgow to help congregations facing the challenge of reducing their energy bills and carbon emissions. All are welcome and the conference is particularly aimed at congregations with limited resources. There is no charge for attending the conference.
- What your congregation’s carbon footprint is and what we can do to reduce it
- How to access a variety of funds which will help you to meet the challenges of climate change
- Who to get advice from as you try to cut your energy bills year after year
- Where exciting things are happening and how you can join in
- How your faith and worship can inform and inspire your practice
Amongst those who will be helping delegates to think and act creatively will be: Adrian Shaw (Climate Change Officer, Church of Scotland), the Wise Group, Kate Airlie (Climate Challenge Fund, Scottish Government), Eco-Congregations, Colston Milton Parish Church, and many others.
