Scottish Renewables Festival – 13-14th June

 
The Scottish Renewables Festival is a celebration of green energy and its role in reducing climate change emissions over the weekend of 13th-14th June 2009 at venues across the whole of Scotland. It’s a chance to see behind some doors that are not usually open to the public as well as a way to visit some familiar sights such as wind farms and hydro power schemes right up close. Renewable energy of all scales will be open from installations in homes and offices providing low carbon heat through to some of Scotland’s biggest electricity generating and storage schemes. There will be exhibitions, film screenings and other events happening around Scotland as well. Come and see Scotland’s renewables revolution for yourself!
