Sir John Holmes, the UN's humanitarian chief, is responsible for bringing relief to those caught up in conflict and natural disasters.

In a public lecture hosted by the UN Association of the UK, Sir John will speak about the main challenges facing the UN in its role as the world's coordinator of humanitarian relief.

Attendence is free and open to all, but prior registration is essential as places are limited.
